Being a Christ-centered institution it is our mission to preach the gospel of God and become an active member of the church. We organize activities such as the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC), Catechesis, Recollection, Lectio Divina and other spirituality encounters to strengthen and deepen our Christian Faith.
To help provide basic foundational services, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, in order to stimulate enrollment growth and improved the efficiency and competitiveness of Catholic Education marked by quality instruction, research and community extension.
Education and Scholarship Program
The Program will give Scholarship Grant for the marginalized and meritorious students. We also provide assistance to our partner communities in terms of Tutorial sessions, day-care assistance, and life skills training
Environment and Revitalization
Inspired and challenged from the encyclical letter from the Holy Father Pope Francis Laudato Si’ on the care for our common home, the planet earth. We challenge as on how to be more conscious, considerate and caring for our environment. We practice a culture of REDUCE, REUSE, RENEW and RECYLE for an eco-friendly relationship with mother nature.
Health and Wellness Program
“Health is Wealth”. We initiate and promote a healthy lifestyle in order to maintain or improve well-being through proper diet, exercise, stress management, and illness prevention. We aim to lowering health care costs, reducing absenteeism and achieving higher productivity.
Livelihood
In order to alleviate the living condition of our partner communities, we are working in collaboration and establish partnership with other agencies/ organization to assists us in conducting livelihood trainings such as food processing, business services, marketing input, financial literacy and Agri-preneur specifically organic farming.
Success Stories
I, Ana Maria Salac Pastrano, a resident of Canal, Siquijor, Siquijor, come from a simple family with 7 other siblings. I lost my father at an early age; so, my mother was left alone in raising all of us. To help her in her struggles, I took different scholarships for me to finish my studies. It was through Hanzel Jake Ponce that I was introduced to the only Catholic College of Siquijor. I was so blessed to be chosen as a scholar of Fr. Ramon G. Florete. Through his transcendent financial support and generosity of the sisters, I grew up to be a mature individual and have successfully graduated in 2017 as Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in secondary education major in Mathematics. Currently, I am the President of Carmelite College Alumni Association and a faculty of my dear Alma mater.
